Our Practice in Atlanta

Dr. Gemma Patel was born in England and has called Atlanta home for the last 25 years. She is a graduate of the back-to-back national champions University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), where she earned her Bachelor of Science in biology and psychology. She continued her professional training in Chicago at the Illinois College of Optometry, completing the doctoral program with honors.

During her time as a doctoral student, she was elected to the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. After graduation, Dr. Patel moved back to Atlanta and completed her residency at one of the top surgical groups in Atlanta, receiving advanced training in eye diseases and managing post-surgical cases.

Patients appreciate Dr. Patel’s thorough eye exams and her warm personality. In her spare time, Dr. Patel enjoys cheering on the Georgia Bulldawgs and Atlanta Braves. You may catch her at softball and baseball practice with her kids at NYO Chastain or a date night with her husband at a local restaurant.

Dr. Kiran Bandali is a Georgia native and graduate of the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), where she earned her Bachelor of Science in nutrition science. She completed her Doctorate of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry.

During her studies, Dr. Bandali gained extensive experience at the William V. Chappell, Jr Veterans Hospital in Daytona Beach, Florida, where she helped patients manage various ocular diseases, ranging from dry eyes to cataracts, macular degeneration, and glaucoma.

In her free time, Dr. Bandali enjoys doing puzzles, exercising, and spending her time with her friends and family. We are excited for all of our patients to experience the excellent level of care Dr. Bandali can provide!

A native of Americus, Georgia, Dr. Brittany Moates Sanchez is a second-generation optometrist who loves helping people see their best and feel comfortable in their eye care journey. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, before completing her Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry, where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.

After optometry school, Dr. Sanchez completed a residency in Ocular Disease at W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center, where she gained advanced training in the management of conditions like macular degeneration, dry eye disease, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and more.

Dr. Sanchez is passionate about building strong relationships with her patients and making sure they feel heard, understood and well cared for at every visit.

When she’s not in the office, you can find Dr. Sanchez spending time with her friends and family, playing pickleball, going to a show at the Fox Theatre, or checking out new restaurants with her husband.

Alex is a native of Chicago and has been in the eye care industry for 10 years. He serves as the Practice Manager at Windsor Eye Care. Alex is also a licensed optician and is dedicated to fitting patients in spectacles that suit their personality as well as functional needs.

Alex is also highly skilled in manufacturing glasses in our cutting-edge (no pun intended!) in-house laboratory, where he helps provide high quality yet speedy service. Alex and his wife are foodies and since he is new to town, be sure to recommend your favorite local restaurant!
